About

About Summit Ledger Advisory

Auckland-based advisors helping small business owners steady cash, margins, and drawings without losing the plot of the work itself.

Advisors reviewing printed financial notes at a meeting table

Summit Ledger Advisory began in Auckland when two former practice managers noticed the same pattern: capable owners who could win work still felt blindsided by Friday payroll, GST quarters, and supplier terms that never quite matched sales timing.

We are not a software company and we do not replace your accountant. We sit beside you for financial management advisory — reading the bank, the invoices, and the calendar of obligations that actually move money in a New Zealand small business.

How we work

Engagements stay close to the numbers you already have. We prefer bank exports, Xero or MYOB reports you already generate, and a frank conversation about owner drawings. Sessions happen at Level 13, 29 Shortland Street, Auckland 1010, or by video when you are on site.

What we believe

  • Cash clarity beats clever forecasts that nobody opens mid-week.
  • Owner pay deserves a structure, not leftover scraps after suppliers.
  • Advice should fit cafés, trades, studios, and shops — not only corporate finance decks.
  • New Zealand GST and provisional tax cycles shape the calendar; we plan around them.

People

Priya Hale leads cash flow stewardship engagements. She spent a decade supporting hospitality and retail owners before focusing on advisory conversations that owners can keep without a finance team.

Tomás Ngata runs margin reviews and forecast sessions. His background is in manufacturing and trade businesses across the upper North Island, where materials lead times and deposit schedules decide whether a month feels safe.

Community

We keep a modest Auckland rhythm: morning sessions for hospitality owners before service, afternoon slots for trades finishing site. When an engagement ends, you leave with a written cash map and a review cadence — not a binder of unused templates.
